LEGO announced today their new Creator set Vestas Wind Turbine 10268.
This set is the one for all the environmentally conscious builders out there.
This set is only 826 pieces but comes with some really cool features and a new-for-January 2019 spruce tree, manufactured from sustainable sourced plant-based plastic.

There’s a nice sale currently on Amazon for the LEGO Ideas Old Fishing Store (21310)
These haven’t heated up on the secondary market yet as they’re only selling around retail or even under retail price. That can all change once these are retired and the availability becomes limited.

The LEGO Snow Speeder 75144 was marked back at the end of August as “Retiring Soon”.
Most sets like this type usually are on the market for 2-3 years but this one debuted in May of 2017, making this one at around a year and half.
This one might be one to grab if the price is right. Retails for $69.99 and already being listed online for $115 and up before official release to public of October 8th.
So grab one if you see it for retail or cheaper.
It’s the new Star Wars Porg 75230 out from LEGO. This little guy really made zero impact in the new Last Jedi Movie but was a big hit for fans as just adorable creature that captured even Chewbacca’s heart.

The Star Wars Advent Calendar sets are a very popular set among most LEGO and Star Wars fans each year, collecting special exclusive figurines in these sets. Mini figures are hugely popular for a lot of LEGO collectors. Some only collect figures.

NYCC 2018 is just around the corner and Diamond Select is bringing another exclusive Minimate. This year’s exclusive will be the Battle Beast Desmodius.
If you’re not familiar with Minimates, they’re like LEGOs but made by Diamond Select Toys and in years past, these Minimates can fetch some nice flipping profit for those that collect but can’t make it to the conventions.
Just like the Betrayal at Cloud City, the new Winter Village Fire Station 10263 is available now for VIP Members. General sales goes on sale for everyone else on October 1st.
These sets don’t really register the cool factor for some collectors but they do have their audience. I consider these types of sets the long term hold gambles.
