LEGO Store Opening Events – Exclusive & Limited Minifigures
Here’s a potential flip idea for those who can attend.
There’s a new LEGO store opening in McAllen, TX (for those not aware, this is down on the border near Browsville) at the La Plaza in November. They have a big opening event scheduled for November 16th through the 18th.
The first two days both have LEGO exclusives available (first day is an exclusive LEGO Store set, the next day is a Minifigure) while the 3rd day is an exclusive t-shirt freebie. All require purchases though to qualify.

The LEGO Snow Speeder 75144 was marked back at the end of August as “Retiring Soon”.
About a week or so ago this set actually showed up as being on “backorder”. That could be a clear indication that sets are running low and sooner rather than later this will be fully retired.
